Wait, someone!

jack russell dog ready for a walk with owner or hungry ,begging on lap , inside their home

Sit down…wait, someone needs something.

Stop and take a breath…wait, someone needs clothes washed for school tomorrow.

Take a moment to ponder an idea…wait, someone needs to let the dog out.

Think you’re done with a projectwait, someone calls with more changes.

Decide to read the paper on a Sunday morning…wait, someone wants breakfast.

Sit down to have a conversation with Mr. Confessions…wait, someone needs a slew of permission slips signed.

Try and have a girls night out…wait, someone needs a ride to practice or to a school function.

Sit down to poop…wait, someone wants to have a deep meaningful conversation.

Get into downward facing dog…wait, someone needs to lay under you to tell you about their day.

Get on the phonewait, someone needs to interrupt you with fifty questions.

Stopped at a light, you close your eyeswait, someone texts in panic mode about shoes or boys.

Lay down to sleep…wait, someone wants to have sex.

Funny, when you slow down and remember…it’s good to be someone that someone needs. So good to be someone who can get all those things done. Loving my someones today, including me! I’m someone too.

Stay sane, my friends.

P.S. And I’ll tell you what someone needs…a “Big Carl” sized glass of wine and a long vacation. 😉
