Day 93: Asking for Forgiveness

October 2, 2014 , , , , ,

DAY 93

Day 93 of the 100 day challenge…asking the impossible, every day, for the last 100 days of 2014! (see the original challenge link here: http://wp.me/p1R1DT-l3)

Today I asked the impossible…of myself. I asked myself for forgiveness.

Forgiveness for, well, just about every shortcoming that I beat myself up for every day—inside my head, usually, and sometimes out loud (a sign that I’m turning into my mother).

I have a Superfriend who consistently reminds me that “what we focus on is what we get.” Let me repeat that and larger:

What we focus on is what we get.

If I want different results, I must THINK and DO different things.

Mandy Ingber reminds us, “energy flows where the mind goes.” Yikes! I am in danger of flowing right off a cliff!”

The good news is, today is a new day. I have the opportunity and the ability to forgive myself for anything and everything and create some new practices that create brand new neural pathways. Think different. Be different. One thing Oprah does is say THANK YOU as soon as she opens her eyes every morning. I have put this into practice. It sets the tone for the entire day.

Your mind ever get in the way of your flow? When was the last time you asked yourself for forgiveness? What’s something you could do every day, for the remaining 93 days of 2014, that would set your flow in a new direction?
