Just One More…Story of My Life

November 15, 2012 , , , , , , ,

Just one more!“That’s What She Said”

“She’s Having a Baby”

“Just Go With It”

“Sybil”

All contenders for movie titles that could properly tell the story of my life. Sadly, these have all been taken. Some by relatively good movies. Sorry, Mr. Sandler.

There is one phrase that seems to have a recurring role in the story of my life. I don’t remember a casting call. It just started showing up one day and never left.

“Just one more!”

Mom, just one more minute of SpongeBob, pleeeease??!!

Mom, just one more piece of candy?!

Mom, just one more chapter and then I’ll empty the dishwasher.

Babe, just one more time. 😉

Damn, just one more load of laundry until the hamper is empty.

Just one more pound and I’ll feel better about myself. (yeah, one!)

Great, one more gray hair.

Just one more zit and I’m going to be unrecognizable!

Oh, just one more chip.

If I could lay here and sleep for just one more minute.

Just do one more sit up.

Just one more time and pow, right in the kissa!

If I have to tell you one more time…

We just have one more softball game today.

Mom, can I get just one more thing?

If one more waitress utters, “yabsolutely!”

I need to create just one more client.

If there was just one more hour in the day.

Ok, just one more Prozac for good measure.

I’ll have just one more glass of wine. (ok, two more)

“Just One More”, starring Allison DeFord, airs this Saturday on Lifetime. Check your local listings.

What’s your movie title gonna be? Stay sane, my friends.
